Hi all,
Is it possible to use A9MEM1570 (3P + N) as a substitute for A9MEM15703 (3P) with neutral not connected? - Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi @Patrick_Grehan ,
Without information about the location and installation of the PowerTag (PTag) and assuming it is a 3P +N system, we can make the following observations:

Hi @Jesus_Diaz
Thanks for your response - to clarify, my question was around using the PTag on a 3P load (no neutral). Installing the 3P+N PowerTag (A9MEM1570) without the neutral connected, as per your comment above, may see some inaccuracy in phase data (if unbalanced) but overall power / energy data will be accurate. Have I summarised your response accurately?
Thanks,
PG

Hi @Patrick_Grehan,
Yes, this will fall under the first case: when the neutral is not connected (on load and PowerTag), the data by phase will be incorrect if the phases are not well balanced, but the total power/energies will be accurate.

Hello @Patrick_Grehan ,
What are you going to do with the Neutral connector of your PowerTag F63 ?

Hi Romain,
The neutral would not be connected and insulated. My question is basically if it's appropriate to do this.
Thanks,
PG
