The 7550-RTU is commonly used as a pulse counter & accumulator, where incomming pulses correspond to a unit of energy.

I think's even a lowly PM5xxx meter could be used. Not sure about the price point on the meter types. With the 75xx series being replace in the near future by the PM9000 maybe it would be prudent to go with a newer meter. Just a thought.

There is one ION7550RTU and monitoring just water (pulse input).
I'm planning to add current and voltage monitoring to the RTU. And looking for any reasonable options to do power monitoring with the RTU.
