Hello,
I'm looking at upgrading our ION 8.2 to ION 9.0. According to the PME 9.0 System Guide, the newest version of Windows it will run on is Windows Server 2016. The only version that our software vendor can get is Windows Server 2019 Standard.
Before I spend the money on a licence, I want to confirm that PME will install on this version of Windows.
Also, I'm going to be using SQL Server 2019 which is also above the latest version listed in the System Guide so I'd like to know if the install will fail at the Check database section.

Hello Mark,
I would recommend moving this question to Ecostruxure Power Monitoring Expert. Group as this is not an ION Setup question. My understanding the response will be along the lines that version outside of the supported list has not been tested and therefore not supported. That being said I do not know what versions have been tested at this time.
Windows Server 2019 Standard is supported by PME 2020. ("Operating Environment") in system guide.

Thanks for the reply.
I wasn't aware that PME 2020 was available. I will look at it as a possible solution.
