Difference between cumulated and normal energy?

I was wondering about the difference between cumulated and normal energy at some Meters?

Maybe there is a quick and possible answere 🙂

Hello @Sven_Ortmann , 

Example for Micrologic Trip Units :

• Total Active Energy (Registers 32096–32099) = Active Energy del + rec (or del - rec) depending on the accumulation mode defined) => this value can be reset with Command Interface 46728
• Total Cumulative Active Energy (Registers 22025–22028) = the same but not resettable

Accumulation mode is defined with Command Interface 47242

Which document/meter is this from?

I believe the difference between cumulative energy registers and others is that cumulative registers are not and/or cannot be reset (as indicated in the descriptions shown).
The term normal found in energy register descriptions (not shown in your example) sometimes indicates the "not test mode" (ie. normal mode) aggregation.
