Hi there.
please review the below and let me have any comment to solve the problem.
Customer : Steel Company
- Upgradede panels and replaced power meter ION6200 (or ION7330) with PM8000(8240)
- Load type of panels which has meter not working
- Electric furnace, Capacitor, Transformer etc.
- In case of furnace, current fluctuates continuously
- There has been no power meters (ION6200, iON7330) problems over 10 years
- After upgrade we replaced nearly ten broken PM8000(8240) with new one
- CT, PT wiring is same as before
- Other digital devices on the same panel such as local or Simense protection relays have no problem.
- The difference between ION6200(ION7330) : has device grounded and PM8000(8240) : has no device ground
- Local protection relay has the same problem and they solved with device ground wiring to panel ground.
Thank you.

Hello @s2k
Strongly recommend you work with your local technical support to troubleshoot. Did not provide any details of what the problem with PM8000 is. Perhaps you are referring to phantom voltage (https://www.se.com/za/en/faqs/FAQ000133551/).

Charles
