Several questions about PM8000 firmware.
1. Is FW version 3.1.0 the most recent?
2. Is there a variety of frameworks offered at another Schneider link, other than the 8000_V3,1,0.0.0 framework file that comes with the 3.1.0 zip file?
3. Does the 8000_V3.1.0.0.0 framework support compliance reporting for EN50160 and Harmonics Compliance 2014 (IEEE519)?
4. After the 3.1.0 firmware upgrade of a PM8000 can .dcf backup taken from a PM8000 running any earlier firmware version e.g. FW 2.1.0 or FW 1.4.3 be applied (to the meter running newer firmware)?, It's understood meter functionality may reduce in such a case
Additional question/s about the PM8000 framework will be put in the PME Exchange Community now. Any responses will be appreciated.
1. Yes
2. There are frameworks for each V3.1.0.0.0 meter -> ION9000, ION9000T (HSTC), PM8000, ION7400 and RMICAN versions for Measurement Canada. They are not bundled altogether.
3. Yes
4. Yes - In most cases this will work, but you won't get the advantage of any bug fixes or other updates. A best practice for maintaining customizations is to save subframeworks of your customizations in ION Designer and apply your subframework to the latest factory framework file.

Thanks Tom for the good information.
For item 2 above I was wondering if there was a variety of latest frameworks for the PM8000 model. However, noting only one .fwn file is included with FW 1.3.2 zip file, it's assumed there is only one standard 'latest' PM8000 framework.
Correct - prior to 3.1.0, we also used to include an MID version, but that has been rolled into Standard now.
