Please advise what the PM8000 Ethernet LED Indicators next to Ethernet ports on PM8240 convey? e.g. colours, flashing patterns.
I have a grainy photo of the underside of a PM8000 with 2 green LED lights where the Ethernet is plugged in, but it is not communicating with an EMS server. PM8000 documentation doesn't seem to cover the requested information. I'm guessing the LEDs are probably labelled (eg Tx and Rx) but the meter isn't accessible at the moment.

Hello @swil ,
The LED are "Act' and "Link". Link LED will indicate that meter and switch have a physical connection. Act will light up when there is activity on the Ethernet port.
Are you able to ping the meter? Telnet/SSH?
Are you able to communicate to the meter when directly connected?
Confirmed not connected to display port if meter does not have integrated display?
The PM8000 meters have a communication throttling mechanism that will slow down communications responses if the meter sees too much network traffic. Has the switch connecting to the meter been configured to block traffic the meter does not need to see?
Regards,
Charles
