Hi All,
following up from another thread.
We have implemented small 24VDC battery packs adjacent to PM8214 meters. we have sized them to hold up the meter & comms gear for 10 minutes, but cant be 100% as they degrade.
We would like to log & trend the DC control power in PME... The data point does not appear to be available on the display or via modbus registers. The only way we can see to achieve this right now would be to parallel the aux voltage to an external AI... adding much extra cost to the solution when it should be available.
Seems silly we can obtain CPU temp, clock source, and all manner of other parameters, but not the voltage of the control power... can we put this on the development wishlist if its not there please?
The reason we want to do this, is the supplies these meters are connected to switch on & off frequently, and there was question as to the data integrity and accuracy post switching off... this way we can validate the control power is healthy through the measurement ranges.

Hello @Grant_IPACS ,
The best way to possibly have a feature added to a meter is to contact your Schneider sales representatives and work with them to create a feature request.
At this time, with PM8000 meters, the only option would be Analog Input module.
Regards,
Charles
