I have recently installed 12 no. PM5560 power meters on a site and connected all to the site LAN configured for DHCP.
Of the 12 no. power meters, 10 no. have connected and picked up an IP address from the site DHCP server in the range 150.237.194.xxx, but 2 no. power meters have "rogue" IP addresses of 85.16.192.217 and 85.16.199.249
My client insists that these IP addresses are not being supplied by their DHCP server but relate to two different locations in Germany! How can this be when the power meters are installed in the UK!
Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thank you.

As mentioned in PM5500 user guide, the 85.16.xxx.xxx is the default first two values of the IP address in Acquisition Mode, and the last two values of the IP address are the last two hexadecimal values of the MAC address converted to decimal:
As for the two meters that have not obtained an IP address from the DHCP server, further investigation is required into the device network configuration, such as verifying whether DHCP is enabled, no static IP is set, and ensuring proper cable and network connections, etc.
