Hi Team,
Just a question, what is the maximum number of Modbus/TCP (e.g. PM5320) meters can a PAS800L accept without compromising its performance?
Thanks in advance.

As mentioned in Panel Server User guide, section 'Maximum Configuration':
With fw 1.7 or later, PAS supports 128 TCP/IP device connections.
To receive better assistance and information, I would recommend posting the PAS related topics in Gateways and Energy Servers forum.
Thank you.

Thanks for your response. Is this applicable if the pm5320 meters will be daisy chained using modbus T tap-off to the panel server? Will it still be 128 modbus/tcp devices or this configuration is applicable only using a switch?

Hi @jedzruiz1985
You're welcome.
Using Modbus T tap-off might degrade the quality of the communication signal, cause delays in processing and limit the maximum number of TCP devices, but I cannot say for sure if such configuration would impact panel server and the maximum number of connected TCP devices.
Kindly post your question in Gateways and Energy Servers channel and Panel sever experts will assist you.
Thank you.
