Hello
Our customer has a question about PM3250 wiring of installation guide.
PM3250 cable diameter specification is described as 2.5 mm2 (14AWG) only.
It is not described about range (tolerance) of size.
Please see the below specification for PM3250 in its installation guide.
However PM5100 or other meters installation guide is described about range of cable size as 0.82 - 3.31 mm2 (18 - 12 AWG).
Please see the below specification for PM5100 in its installation guide.
Therefore our customer has questions as follows;
- Does the diameter specification of cable core mean maximum size?
- Is there any lower limitation of the diameter specification of cable core in case that it means maximum size?
Could you please advise me?
Thank you.

Hello Suzuki,
Sorry for the delay in response, I had discussion with our experts on this topic.
The 14AWG was the recommended wire size for PM3200 series voltage inputs. However you can suggest the customer to use 18 or 16 AWG wire size for the same.
Regards,
