Hello,
I hope that I selected a correct topic location.
I have received request to create a solution for thermal monitoring of existing capacitor bank.
My idea is HeatTag for main safety and thermal/humidity detection and possible additional installation of CL110 sensors inside the switchboard / to capacitor wiring. PAS400 for data collection and transfer to software.
My question is, do you recommend this kind of thermal monitoring solution?
Does monitoring of some steps (lets say with higher power than 50kVAR) makes sense or is it overkill and HeatTag is "good enough"?
I dont want to over specify the monitoring system, if there is no added value for customer.
The whole case is to set some standardized simple solution for this company, since they have multiple PFC banks.

Hi @MartinRichnak ,
in fact, there is a VarSet "smart" offer available, which is natively equipped with such monitoring. I think the best for you would be to review its documentation and try to recreate it in your existing cpaacitor bank.
