Hi All,
Would like to consult if a three-phase PowerTag can be used in 1P3W system?
As I know there is no specific type of PowerTag designed for 1P3W. I think the best way is to use 2 single-phase PowerTag and sum up the energy consumption.
However, due to the cost issue, I am wondering if we can use a three-phase PowerTag instead of 2 single-phase PowerTag? I will leave 3rd pole empty since it is not used for power measurement, but pick up the Line 3 voltage from either L1 or L2 to make PowerTag work properly. Also, I will neglect all the average measurements and only look at the total energy consumption.
Not very sure if this architecture is applicable and would like to know anyone have relevant experience to share? Thanks
