Team,
I was asked by a customer what are "Schneider's plans to support ipv6 in the future? Along with the power meters they would also need to know the plans to support it on the protection meters eg micom, sepam, micrologics, etc.
I was advised that PM8000 supports IPv6 for local addressing, but how about the rest?
Regards,

Received another enquiry from a customer on IPv6 support. The point to note is that this request is coming typically from IT network/security folks who are upgrading network infrastructure. We may see this hard-spec'ed very soon and we will have to demonstrate end-to-end support of IPV6 with all devices and software - not just isolated device support. This is one of those IT compatiblity items (like SSO or AD support) that could hurt us by completely blocking proposals. - please note for backlog!

Thanks Ram - I think a lot of us received the question today
We have had this on our backlog for a while and we have been monitoring the device support topic in order to pick our timing.
Thanks for the heads up
Tom
