I notice the RD192 has an auxiliary power port for 24VDC but the manual doesn't really give much of a clue when its to be used or not
The specs for the screen state its PoE so i'm presuming when using the B2B adaptor or direct CAT5 from meter body to screen we don't need to power it.
So exactly when is an auxiliary 24VDC supply required to the RD192 screen ?
Cheers

Hello Rich,
You are correct in the the meter's RD port does provide power for the remote display. Currently no direct purpose for the auxiliary but available for possible future features. The display can be powered by the auxiliary which could be used to help troubleshoot if the display does not turn on for example. Do not recommend using Port power and Aux power unless directly by technical support.
