ION8800B ftp not allow to paste CID file

I open the ftp:// but cannot paste CID file nor from CET850.

The firmware is V370 replaced by  V370_8800B_61850.upg I used the V362e templates because I could not find the V370e template. Any suggestion. I did 61850 with other meter before with ION8800 V362 it was OK.

Are you using addition 1 or 2? Can you attach your CID file?

I redo from beginning using Edition 2 with the SE_ION_8800-B-Onb5-F01_E2V01.ICD.

Please see the CID file  Is there any security restriction on new ION8800 V370 ?

Hello Yut,

Personally I find using Windows Explorer rather than Internet explorer easier to work with for FTP. The address bar would be the same: ftp://[ipaddress]

I try the Windows Explore too.

Wonder I used to do it before with the old firmware version.

I change the computer then install CET850 V3.1.2 everything is OK.

New computer is Windows 10 Pro the  old one using Windows 7 .

The error message showed 

This site can’t be reached

The webpage at ftp://0:0@192.168.2.11/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

ERR_FTP_COMMAND_NOT_SUPPORTED

When use Windows Explorer it runs OK with new computer.

Finally I got it work when test with TriangleMircro tools. Next how to customize the measurement aside from factory default any advice please.

For example we want to add value from store module that store end of month energy reading or daily kWh reading.

How about the IEC61850 modules each were set after the CID file has been loaded. If I edit the link will it be changed in

the CID file ?

Hello Yut,

I would not recommend making changes to the IEC 61850 MMTR, MMXU etc as this could lead to confusion if someone assumes the meter is still in default configuration. Does the 8800 ICD file have GGIO Cust AI? This is where I would put the custom measurements. You are limited to 16 measurements.

This is the first project of the Utility here in Thailand about IEC61850 our ION8800 was chosen to be the model for IEC61850 Learning Center I'd like to give them the best.

I work with GGIO Cust AI try to add kWh del and kvarh del int  to Anln1 and Anln2 they work fine.
