ION8650A ION Module Count

We have found a limitation on the number of ION modules in ION8650A and as confirmed in the ION Device Template Reference, there is no more free AND/OR Modules in a default meter (v402).  All 50 modules are used already, it will be impractical to add any new custom framework that will be using this module.

The External Numeric Module is also limited only 10 available and Counter only 6.

We would like to have more of these modules available in order for us to maximize the power of ION by adding customized meter framework.

We expected to have more modules in this model. Perhaps a new firmware upgrade?

Hi Arneil,

What would be the ideal count for these modules so that we could fit typical frameworks in? Perhaps rounded up to nearest 10. Are there other modules that may need more, what about Pulse Merge?

 SANDRA PEDRO what are the chances of addressing this sometime soon as we are beginning a lot of ION8600 replacement projects which lead have custom frameworks.

We would like to have additional 40 free AND/OR, Counter and Pulse Merger Modules plus 30 free External Numeric Modules.
