ION7550/ION7650 LCD Display

Is it possible to repair/replace faulty LCD displays on ION7550/ION7650 PQ meters? Or is it a case of replace with PM8000/ION9000?

I have a customer who has 8 no. units with blank or faulty LCD displays.

The question as asked is a bit of a loaded question. There is https://www.se.com/ww/en/faqs/FA297835/, the PDF includes the lines 

• If your device’s serial number ends in -01 or -02, this display will work with your
  device.
• If your device’s serial number ends in -03 or higher, then this display will not
  work with your device."

Most parts for the ION7650 have been obsoleted but some distributors may still have stock so could be work asking about FR75XDISP if your meters are older. If your meter is -03 or higher I do not know of a way to do this.
