Hello SE experts:
Do you have any ION8650 IEEE-519 setting instructions or guide from Schneider that cover the below screen? What is confusing is the use and appearance of L-L voltage values for the radio buttons.
It would be nice to find an ION document that fully explained and guided these setting.
Does the Nominal Voltage taking from Sag/Swell module L-N or L-L? and how about the radio buttons voltage range? L-N or L-L?
Thanks
Leo

Hello Leo,
The voltages are as defined in the standard. You would need to confirm with the standard if VLL or VLN is needed. As far as the meter is concerned, this setting will change an External Numeric register that has enumeration for PME reports. This setting will also affect the table ION Setup uses to program the harmonic limits. This does not affect the sag/swell module.

Charles,
While I appreciate you replying to both mine (separate post/reply) and Leo's inquiry (here), your response is vague and not helpful when you just refer us back to reading the standard.
Re: "The voltages are as defined in the standard. You would need to confirm with the standard if VLL or VLN is needed."
How are we to know what the meter does with these settings without dissecting all of the programming modules? Where can we find specific setup instructions for the IEEE519 settings for the ION8650A?

Hello @LarryP ,
The IEE519 standard uses VLN. At the time of my previous post I was not able to access the standard document.
The ION8650 meter did not get a template from the factory that supports IEEE519. There were individuals in US country organization that created a template themselves. Therefore you will need to reach out to your local technical support for more assistance on the ION8650 meters with IEEE519 template.

Charles
