How to Delete the ION7650 Event Log

Hello everyone?

This is the current time synchronization setting.
You can confirm that the event log records the time synchronization as shown in the picture every day.
KakaoTalk_20180118_134011099.jpg
Time Synchronization Event Log makes it difficult to find other Event Logs.

Is there a way to turn off only the time synchronization event log?

Thank you.

Your time sync. occurred  quite too often. I recommend you to study the clock module setting concern NTP.

NTP Time Sync Interval

This register specifies the frequency at which the meter will attempt to time

synchronize via SNTP. Values between 60 seconds and 1 year are acceptable.

NTP Event Logging Threshold

This register specifies the minimum time synchronization difference (in seconds)

for a time synchronization event to be logged. This value is only used for NTP time

synchronization.

This would minimize number of events caused by NTP time sync. but not to eliminate time sync. at all sometime you need this event for problem solving hope this may help.

Hi Yut Kijasanong

I know this.

However, there is a problem because the time synchronization period is changed when the threshold value is changed.

We will ask you if you can prevent the event log from being recorded.

One more, try to look for NTP time change priority no. see if you can set cutoff at the event controller.

One other option could be to change the clock seeing from using the line frequency to the internal clock. Could help keep the meter from needing as many time sync.

Is there anything we can do within the meters framework so it's not logging (or displaying) every event?
