Our customer is requesting that we provide IEEE power factor calculations for the HDPM6000 for equipment configured in the ANSI fashion and IEC power factor calculations when its wired up in the IEC fashion.
1) Is this possible?
2) which power factor calculation method is used for this device?

The HDPM6000 currently uses the IEEE convention for power factor in the quadrants for power flow to the load. The HDPM uses the opposite of the IEEE convention for power flow away from the load, but it's rare to see the HDPM used in applications with bi-directional power flow.
The HDPM doesn't currently support the IEC convention but I've mentioned this to the HDPM engineering team so that it can be considered for a future firmware release.
