Hi Xperts,
Just want to ask as to why does the the communications test reports in EPC not showing the MAC Addresses and serial numbers of Modbus TCP devices. Is this the same for all or did I miss to do something prior to the test?
All serial devices connected to PAS800L. ION9000 is direct eth connection to our network.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Jedz

Any serial devices connected via gateway would not likely have a MAC address to report (since its connected to the PAS800L likely via RS-485).
The EPC report looks to be showing serial numbers for all devices except maybe the ION 9000 which I suspect that the EPC is communicating to the ION9000 using Modbus TCP (and not ION) as its showing the unit ID to be 255 so I don't know if EPC knows how to read the serial number from the ION9000 via Modbus.

Since this forum is dedicated to Power Metering, I recommend posting your query on EPC team forum for further assistance regarding how EPC communicates with and polls data from meters.
