Hi Team,
Is it possible to daisy chain METSEPM5320 meters to a PAS800L using a Modbus T Tap-off? What is the maximum number of these meters can be daisy chained together to a PAS800L if Power Monitoring Expert is the headend?
Thanks in advance.

Hello @jedzruiz1985 ,
This T derivation is not adapted for Ethernet communication. This part number is dedicated for Serial Modbus comm:

https://www.se.com/in/en/faqs/FA248024/
You can also use this ref for ULP communication protocol (serial protocol dedicated to breakers).
If 2x (or more) PM5320 are transmitting data to the Panel Server at the same time, the T derivation cannot manage data collision on your Ethernet bus.
For Modbus TCP communication, better use an ETH switch. Hard to say more without knowing your comm architecture.
PAS600 or PAS800 can manage up to 128 downstream Modbus TCP connection:
You can connect PME to the Panel Server without restriction.
Regards,
