Is there any document describe what current channel the option be applied to ?
Customer thought the option can be used with I4 they connected probe to I4 to measure Neutral current from existing CT sec.
I understand from the beginning of ION76xx/75xx current option that the probes are for I1 I2 and I3 only. Is there any update on the latest version of ION7650 ?
See screen capture they connected I4 to r phase.

Hello,
I'm pretty sure I remember there is (or was) an option to order 0, 3, or 5 probes with the ION7650 NICP option.
Because the meter only computes power from 3 of the phases, only I1(Ir), I2(Iy), and I3(Ib) can have phase calibration.
Yes, I4 and I5 can be used to measure the current for any use the customer may have (each with their own CT ratio).
I'm not sure what you mean regarding "the latest version of ION7650"? Do you asking about the ION9000 Low Voltage Current Sensor hardware model?
PS. The phasor diagram indicates the meter is wired for 3WIRE Delta but the angles between the current phases is significantly unbalanced. The phase angle imbalance suggests that this 3wire system either has unbalanced single phase (line-to-line) loads, or perhaps there is a wiring error. Depending on the power quadrant expected, most likely either:
1. Iy and Ib are inverted
2. only Ir is inverted

All options of the ION7650 include both I4 and I5 inputs on the meter. I believe for the low voltage current probe option, there are options for 0, 3, and 5 probes. And of course the customer can order probes separately to use as they want.

So I will check the order option. Those meters were the last lot before the ION9000 were release.

Helo Yut,
What I believe Dan is saying is that the meter came with the option to order probes with the meter or supply your own probes. He is not talking about what options are inside the meter.

I checked the order option the current input was G means 3 voltage input with 3 current clamps.
Thank you very much everyone.
