Control Microsystems has announced the release of ClearSCADA 2010 R2, the newest version of our successful SCADA Host software.

ClearSCADA 2010 R2 is a major version release, containing numerous new features and product enhancements. This version also includes the rebranding of the product under Schneider Electric.

All users upgrading to this release will require a new license file available from customer support. This is required for both server and client upgrades. See the notes available here for further information.

New Product Features

Schneider Electric rebrand - ClearSCADA 2010 R2 has been rebranded under Schneider Electric. This includes icons, splash screens, file locations etc.

Security - Improvements have been made to increase the reliability and security of the product.

Performance and Scalability - A significant effort has been made to improve server performance in ClearSCADA 2010 R2 which has resulted in the increase in the recommended maximum database size to 900,000 objects.

Driver improvements - New Water Industry Telemetry Standard driver (UK only), Autosol ACM driver, Conformance tested DNP3 driver, Support for 7.82 firmware version in E-Series driver.

Improved SVG Import - Support for the elements.
