How to access a Com'X200 with firmware version 2.2.1

I have a customer with a Com'X200 server running firmware version 2.2.1 and I have been asked to change the FTP server settings. I have tried to connect to it using several different web browsers but none support the old level of security offered by firmware 2.2.1.

Example from Chrome;

"This site can't provide a secure connection, 192.168.1.232 uses an unsupported protocol, ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH"

I have tried an old laptop that runs Internet Explorer but still have the same issue.

Do you have any suggestions?

Try to upgrade your Com'X with USB:

https://www.se.com/ch/fr/download/document/ComX200_v3.5.54/

Or maybe upgrade through EPC:

https://www.se.com/fr/fr/download/document/Ecoreach_Installer/

But Com'X 200 is old (cipher suites not updated), and I'm not sure modern browser will allow connection, even with the most recent FW (year 2019).

This seems working with Com'X200 V3.5.54 + MS Edge or Chrome

Hello,

Yes it should work with the latest FW of ComX200 with Chrome, you can try also with a old PC running an old version of IE....
Upgrade using USB is a good recommendation.

I have tried updating the firmware to version 3.5.54 several times using the USB method but it hasn't worked, or if it has, version 3.5.54 is no longer accepted by the current versions of Chrome, Edge, etc.

Any other suggestions?

Com'X200 v3.5.54 + Chrome is working for me. Maybe update through USB did not work.

Other solution could be to connect the Com'X 200 to EcoStruxure Power Commission and try to upgrade:

I have tried adding the Com'X200 to Power Commission but the software tool cannot discover the IP address/add the IP address manually, nor show Firmware details - no device found!

It looks like it is the end for this energy server.
