Q1: I don't really understand the question but I assume that you wan to know if the SFTP publishing (csv export feature) will be available on other PAS model (PAS400 and PAS600)...

csv export feature will be available for the 3 models : PAS400 / PAS 600 /PAS800.

The difference will be that the P800 has a datalogger of three years and can support upper network disconnection longer than one month  to avoid gag in the PME DB. PAS400/PAS600 has a maximum buffer of approximately one month and can avoid only a shorter  disconnection.

However this feature is forecasted in tentative status (not commited status today) for the version 1.5 in October 2022

Today with the current version 1.3.2, the export is performed by the user in the Panel server web page and the export is only on his laptop

Q2:

I m pretty sure that the instruction will be available in the user guide and relative to  a generic SFTP server (no specific instruction for a PME server)

Q3:

this question is relative to PME and I don't know  if the dev team forecast to publish a tech note/TVDA  (or similar) relative to this topic.

I didn't realise that the lower level PAS devices e.g. PAS600 would be equipped to log at all.. The PAS600 'data sampling' feature looks interesting. (looks like it is for PAS servers connecting to a Schneider cloud, not for PAS servers connecting to PME).

Is October 2022 the  ETA for the PAS800 to be able to publish files over SFTP? Question1 was written because the Version 3 (05/22) PAS user manual (which seems to cover all PAS servers) does not reference SFTP. It also seems very light on instructions to publish data to a server on the network (it is hoped that the PAS800 will do everything that a Com'X can do including this, custom modbus device types etc.). 

Regarding Q2, and Q3, A clear description of how to use the PAS800 to replace existing Com'Xs functionality with PME would be welcomed (i.e csv file transfer to PME server setup and database backfilling using the csv files)

SFTP publication is implemented on PAS800 with firmware 1.5.0
SFTP publication will be implemented on PAS600 with firmware 1.5.1 (to be released any day now). 
HTTPs publication is expected for firmware 1.6.0 for both PAS600 and PAS800 range

I am sharing a screenshot to help you with this.

I am not the author (thanks to this colleague! ‌‌, he will recognize himself) and it was made with fw1.5.0

For information, Improvement in fw1.5.1 will be a 2nd additional method of identification and the possibility of selecting a subfolder in the SFTP server (today only possible to select the root)

I have just updated a PAS600T to fw 1.6.0 and cannot either setup the sftp or find anyway to download the log csv file directly from the panel server?

Do you have any screen shots of a PAS600 with fw 1.6.0?

Hi Darren,

Export the csv file from the webpage is not possible with PAS600 . It is only possible with PAS800.
Only the SFTP publication is possible with PAS600.

I don't have specific screenshot for the new version 1.6 but it should not be really different.
If you can wait a little, a video relative to SFTP publication with fw1.6 must be added in a few weeks in the forum (currently in creation)

Other solution now is to create a ticket on the support to help if urgent (no better solution on my side)

SFTP publication should be available on PAS600T with fw 1.6.0 as per release note.

if your PAS has been connected to the cloud, I guess you have to factory reset it and use SFTP.

Usually, PME server will act as a SFTP server.

In case you wanted to change the SFTP folder path.

Configure SFTP within Windows Server 2022!

After creating SFTP server you can start publication from Panel server, make sure you have enabled the sampling (Data Recoding on PAS)

Once csv files are available on PME server you can use ETL tool to load that data into ION DB.

hello @luis_dias_emr_p,

SFTP is a standard protocol to exchange files ( Secure File Transfer Protocol), basically you need to have a SFTP server (can be a piece of software) you will have to configure ( credentials, IP, etc) and the PAS will push the files to this Server (Client side)

As explained, PME is having one and you can use EDC to ingest data.
