Hello @samhari ,
We do not have "ready to use" cable to convert RS232 RJ45 to SUB-D9. You can build your own with instructions below.
Pin-outs of the Link150 RS232 port is listed in the Instruction Sheet.
You can try to use Quantum SUB-D9 cable ref 990NAD21110 and connect an RJ45 connector on the the other side of the cable.

Hello Romain,
Thank you for the reply and the links. Yes I tried following the pin configuration for the RS232 port over RJ45 cable to Modbus DB9 cable to the PLC Modbus serial port but my issue is that am not able to communicate to the PLC from the laptop as shown. Not sure if am using the right pin configuration for the serial DB9 Modbus plug to the PLC. any idea? hope am not confusing you.. attached diagram is what am referring to.
Regards
Sam

Hello @samhari ,
If you check p. 111 of the HW ref manual, you will find Modbus Port pin-outs for your CPU 434 12 unit.
IBM-AT = prefab cable, but if you know pin-outs for both Link150 RS232 RJ45 port and CPU434-12 SUB-D9 male, you can build your own cable.
Best we can do in this forum is to propose you the following wiring between Link150 and Quantum CPU.
Please also check that Modbus parameters (Baudrate, parity, etc.) are aligned between your devices.
