Hello Ali,

The leak rope sensors work on a conductivity basis.  If a leak rope is broken at any point, the leak rope should still monitor for leaks, but only up to the broken point.

Kind Regards,

Cory

Just to add to Cory’s answer, if there was somehow a short because of the damage, the sensor would report a leak until the damaged part is removed.
