hey everyone
just need a quick help......My client wants me to add a Siren or Hooter with RM 250 or 450 to activate when leak rope alarm occurs. I saw Alarm Beacon option in installation manual, but they need it to generate sound on any event.
anybody plz give me an idea how do I integrate a 220V AC or 12 to 24 V DC siren or hooter with Rack Monitor.
Thanks in advance,
M. Raza Khan

Hello Bala,
I tried it but unfortunately it didn't work.
I've attached an image to show where I've terminated the Siren & jumper.
Also, the siren requires 12V DC. & everything else was done exactly what you explained in your procedure.
Please guide me if Im missing something.
Kindly treat this as urgent matter.
Thanks alot for the support.
Regards,

Hi Raza-Is your siren working when you directly power by 12 Vdc from Netbotz appliance? Have you tried NC relay output?
I could make it work, and our team also make it work with the same instructions. Netbotz supply from the 12V and 24V connections are capable of only 75mA total output.
I also let other community experts to suggest.

hey there,
well I tried but couldn't make it work with direct power, may be im mistaking plz guide me.
(by the way its working with external power)
No I didn't try NC output, is it possible if I give you TeamViewer session so you'll verify the relay output settings in Advanced View & its association with Leak Rope sensor ?
Please this has become a serious issue & my client is not happy with it. I really want to close this matter now !
