Hi, we are trying to do firmware upgrade on NetBotz Rack Monitor 750 device, appliance ships with firmware v5.01.90, and we want to upgrade to v5.1 or if possible v5.2; but unfortunately after appliance is completed uploading the new v5.1.0.31 firmware file in "Settings->Firmware Update" page, it returns to page where "INSTALL" and "START AGAIN" buttons inactive, just like it is been cancelled during the firmware upload process, can not click on "INSTALL" button to continue the firmware upgrade process, I have tried from different browsers(both IE and Chrome) on same laptop, what seems to be an issue, is there alternative upgrade procedure not use appliance web? thank you!

My suggestion is to ensure that you are uploading the correct extension firmware file instead of Zip file
PROD_SIGNED_NBRK0750_Build_5.1.0.31.sedp
https://www.se.com/ae/en/faqs/FA377902/
Please check this k-base
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Bala

Hi Bala, I think you are right, I have downloaded the FW through IE browser, and file was saved as zip extension. let me change the file extension to sedp or try to dowload the firware use chrome browser, will keep you posted with result soon; thank you!
files saved to computer: NBRK075x_Build_5.2.0.3061.zip and PROD_SIGNED_NBRK0750_Build_5.1.0.31.zip
P.S. one more thing, can I do direct upgrade from v5.0 to v5.2?

Hi Uuganbat, thanks for the update. Yes, I think it is possible to upgrade from 5.0 to 5.2, but please refer the release notes document for more information.

hi Bala, today we have successfully updated the firmare of NB750 to v5.2; it was the IE issue where file extension was saved as zip; but another thing, after we managed to use Chrome to download the firmware which is sedp extension, then we couldn't do the upload and install the .sedp file over Chrome, install button will not acive, like same issue; so we changed the browser to IE and tried to upload/install the sedp file, it worked like charm; thank you!
