PoE injector for AP9520TH

This question was originally posted on DCIM Support by uuganbat on 2019-12-09

Hi, did anyone use PoE injector to power AP9520TH - APC Temperature & Humidity Sensor with Display, and use AP9520TH  as standalone sensor without Netbotz controller? thank you!

Hi Uuganbat,

Good day!

The AP9520TH needs to be connected to a Netbotz appliance via the A-link port. Connecting it to the network directly (with POE) will not only not work, but may potentially damage the sensor.

For additional information, please refer to pages 1 to 2 from the AP9520TH Installation guide from the link below:

https://download.schneider-electric.com/files?p_File_Name=ASTE-6Z5QC9_R0_EN.pdf&p_Doc_Ref=SPD_ASTE-6...

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Justine
