Dear Fellows,
I have the following system specs:
1- DCE 7.4.3
2- 11 NetBotz Camera Pod 160 are connected to 10 NetBotz Rack Monitor 570.
The customer wants to integrate the NetBotz Cameras Pod 160 with Milestone Husky IP video management software.
My questions here are:
1- Is that possible or not?
2- If this is possible, what is the procedure for this integration?
BR,
Sameeh

Hi Sameeh,
I don't think this type of integration is possible. The customer would need to use the External Storage option in Advanced View or the Surveillance option on DCE. In any case, NetBotz cameras are not intended for constant recording of video. Rather they are intended to record video when there is motion detected or when there is an environmental or intrusion alert on the system.

Thank you very much for your reply, I told the customer this is not possible but I just needed to confirm with the DCIM experts community.

Sameeh,
There would be no out-of-the-box integration between the NetBotz/DCE and Husky IP video management software.
You would not be able to integrate the camera images between DCE and the management software.
You would need to program a custom solution to pull camera images. This may/may not work depending on the capabilities of the Husky IP Video management software.
Information on programmatically pulling NetBotz Camera images, from the NetBotz Appliance, using a URL can be found in the following knowledge base:

Best Regards,
Cory
