Is there anyway to delay the communication status alarm? At the moment there are a few devices that lose communication for a few minutes (a single poll cycle) then restore communication. This sets an alert for the loss then another alert for the restoration.
To conteract this I would like to set a threshold for a communication status alarm to only trigger after say 10 minutes.

You can set a delay for the alarm action to wait a certain amount of time before it will send a notification. In your case, you would want to set the delay to 10 minutes. If a device's communication is lost and restored in less than 10 minutes, notifications will not be sent.
Edit the properties of the notification policy which handles your communication threshold alarms. If using default settings, this will be your default notification policy.
