What is the reason that the virtual serial port data cannot be read? The serial port number is COM14 COM6

This is most likely a problem with the Moxa configurations. You may be using the wrong driver from Moxa they have two this thread is about that.
In the Moxa configuration the ports have to be set to Real Com.
In the Moxa driver port configuration there is a setting that I forget what it is called but one option says something about Classic. I usually have to select that Classic option.
