This may be a polarising opinions setting, but a new 'hidden' Registry setting that people may want to try. I can't claim I found it myself, just seen it in a email conversation between a colleague and a customer and though I should share.
At the ViewX client...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\Schneider Electric\\ClearSCADA\\ViewX\\InsetWindowsHaveChrome
Create as a DWORD, set to 1 and restart ViewX and now any mimics opened as insets get a close on the right hand side. Default is 0.
I do think it looks a little ugly as the current tab is also still shown, and so screen real-estate is also reduced a little. But it may make someone happy when they go to close insets.
Should appear to work in Dec 2018 builds onwards, certainly works in my 2017 R3 Feb 2019 build.

There is an argument for Microsoft trained us to close a window from the right since Windows 95. For me I went from DOS to Windows 95, so closing windows has always been on the right. I sometimes catch myself looking for it there when closing an inset.

Thanks Steve.
What gets me is when moving between Windows and Linux and the options on different sides! So having it on the 'left' in ClearSCADA under Windows really messes with my head.
