[Imported] Start an Exe file via FBD or script on change of a variable

Hello,

I built an FBD logic to change the state of an Variable (bool). Now I need to start an exe when the var is true and another exe when the variable is false. Whats the best way to do this? I thought about a ST programm, cause it doesn't need as much ressources as a VBscript. But I can't find a way to execute my file. Or is it somehow possible to start an exe directly from the FBD?
