Energy Hub IT firewall requirements

Since Energy Hub is a cloud-based solution, what do I need to prepare with my client's IT? Do we need to open a specific port to allow connection to the cloud? We are going to be using a Panel Server that will connect through their local network.

Hi Sandeep,

Panel Server needs an internet connection with access to the Schneider Electric cloud services to send measurement data to Energy Hub. Panel Server sends all the data over HTTPS and uses the same ports on the network firewall as standard web browsers. This makes Energy Hub easy to integrate into the IT network.

If the IT network uses a proxy server, then you need to configure the Panel Server proxy server settings.

If the network uses a firewall, then it needs to be configured to allow access to the Schneider Electric cloud services (also called endpoints).
