How can the firmware version of Security Expert Smart Card Readers be determined.

Cause
It is not possible to easily identify the firmware which a reader has been shipped with. Serial Numbers are not sequential and cannot be used as general guide.
Resolution
To find out a reader's original shipped firmware version raise a case with Product Support including the Reader's Serial Number and they will be able to check with manufacturing to determine which firmware version was loaded at the time.
