I have a device that has a 6-20P plug (not the twist-lock L6-20P) that's current plugged into a 6-20R receptacle on the wall. This is in a business and I'm not sure if the power source is 208 three phase, or 240 single phase. All I know is that it's 6-20. I need to purchase a UPS to protect the device from brown-outs and surges.
I don't see any 230/240V APC models for the US, only 208V models with L6-20. If business's power source is 240 single/split phase, will the APC UPS's rated at 208V work? If this is the case then I will hire an electrician to make converter plugs to convert 6-20 to L6-20 so the UPS will plug into the receptacle and the device can plug into the UPS. Thanks

I found converter plugs online so physically I know I can do it, I guess I'm just curious if there are any APC UPS's that will work with 240V split phase, which is pretty much what every american household has coming into it...

Brian,
The SURTD3000RMXL3U can be configured as 240 Volts. There is also a backlpane option for this UPS with 2 X 6-20 outlets.

The Symmetra LX will do 240/120.
