Hi all,
I installed the wrong firmware on the NMC and it has lost connection to the UPS. Is there any way to recover? Web interface works and can finally be used with a modern browser ...
UPS: Smart-UPS RT 5000XL
NMC: AP9631
Firmware installed: apc_hw05_aos650_sy3p650_bootmon108.exe
This is the problem - firmware is for Symmetra 3-Phase, not Smart. I was led astray by the "Firmware Upgrades for all supported APC offers" tag line. My understanding is, I need the sumx application module.

You can download the proper firmware from this link.
If the firmware cannot be uploaded to the NMC using the wizard you will find instruction on how to upload manually in Schneider Electric FAQ FA156047

I'm just surprised I wasn't able to find the version you linked to. Maybe it's a location thing, I see your link is pointing to us/en/products.

I also can't find any firmware for SRT5KRMXLI with AP9537SUM NMC. Changing location on the search page doesn't seem to have any impact.
