Hi,
After recently installing an APC SMX3000RMHV2UNC, we've been able to successfully connect PowerChute clients on a number of servers except for 3 servers that are already running an application that is listening on TCP and UDP 3052.
When the PowerChute Network Shutdown service is running, running netstat shows that its process ID isn't listening on UDP 3052.
The result of this is that Network Management Card Registration fails in the PowerChute Setup on these three servers.
What can we do as a workaround?
Many thanks

Thanks Bill,
The servers are running Windows Server OS so I've created a .cmd file in C:\Program Files (x86)\APC\PowerChute Business Edition\agent\cmdfiles with the following line repeated for each remote server needing to be shutdown:
@START "" shutdown /s /f /m \\computername /c "PowerChute has initiated a system shutdown" /t 0
I've also set the PCBE Agent service to run as a user account that has admin credentials on the other two servers.
We haven't tested it yet but I'm hopeful that this will work.
Thanks again for your help,

Hi,
You could write a SSH action or command file that one of the properly configured PCNS clients would run to send a power off signal to the remote server/s. An example of a power off command for Windows system is available in Schneider Electric FAQ FA159586
