On Smart UPS SMT2200I, there are 2 ports, 1 USB and 1 RJ45 serial UPS monitoring port. Is it possible to use two ports at the same time? If I want to connect the SMT2200I UPS to one server through USB, and to another server through RJ45 serial UPS monitoring port, so that two servers can monitor the UPS at the same time, is it possible?

This is how I used to run my server and NAS as the NAS only supported serial connection without plugins.

Possibly not, searching the documentation on
http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SMT2200I&tab=documentation
There is a link "Operation Smart-UPS 750/1000/1500/2200/3000 VA 100/120/230 Vac, 500 VA 100 Vac Tower"
that leads to this document:
http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/SCON-7NBSEM/SCON-7NBSEM_R6_EN.pdf
where it is said: "Note: Serial and USB communication can not be used simultaneously" (Page 5)

On SMT/SMX/SRT type units, it is not marketed as being possible but you can do it based on the UPS design. For older designs, like models that begin with SU, SUA, SURT, SURTA, it is not supported and will not work properly as there will be conflicts on the communication bus.

Can you advise the process of connecting USB and serial to two servers. Do you just connect it and install the software or is there something more to it?

Yup, there's nothing more to it, although it isn't a supported configuration.
