I have this error on an APC. 9631 mgmt card is installed. Not sure what the error even means or how to clear it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Environment: A maximum temperature threshold violation exists for integrated Environmental Monitor T Sensor (NA at NA) reporting over 0.0 C

Thank you for the help. I changed to Fahrenheit and then changed the thresholds and that resolved my issues.

Hi Jonathan,
The AP9631 Network Management Card is like a NIC for your UPS. It supports accessories that plug into Universal I/O (UIO) ports. An included accessory is an AP9335T temperature sensor that you typically install/route somewhere in the rack where your UPS is so you can see the ambient/environmental temperature in the area.
The message looks to me telling you that there is a maximum temperature violation. Which, as part of using the temperature sensor, you can set high/low and min/max thresholds for temperature values which you can be alarmed on through multiple methods if you so choose (email, syslog, SNMP, etc). Though the message looks a little odd with the NA and 0.0ºC. NA can be programmed in by someone but the temp reading is strange.
The easiest thing to do is to log into the AP9631 and see what is being reported for temperature and what is set for threshold configurations. Then, also check the logs and see what is going on there.
If you are on newer 6.X firmware, try going to the status menu->Universal I/O menu and then check the configuration stuff under Configuration->Universal I/O and let us know what you find. Any screenshots would be good.
Also, you can share any logs if you want by downloading the .tar file, explained here on how to download it -http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156131 from About->Support menu or through other methods.
For reference, you should see stuff like this in the web interface so if you're not, we'll have to see what is happening:

Here is a screenshot of that I/O status. What's funny is everything is in Celsius and not Fahrenheit. Can this be changed?

Yes, it goes on a by-user basis. For the user you're logged in as, look for your username on the top right of the screen. Click on it and it will give you a shortcut to the user's preference and you can change it to US Customary there.
So it seems like these are legit trying to notify you (correctly) because all of the thresholds are 0's and the actual temp is higher than that.
