Hi,
We have a Symmetra PX 80K which suddenly failed the self test and changed the run time from 7min to 1min . Considering that the batteries were about 4 years old, we changed them and did the self-test and runtime calibration, they both pass but somehow the runtime won't increase. Is there any settings need to be applied to reset the calibration system ?
Thank you all, Rooz

Hi,
I am sorry you do not feel my response was helpful. I asked the 3 phase support team and their recommendation is to have a field service technician perform the battery age reset. I only passed along the information I was provided. If you have found documentation and fell comfortable with performing the task yourself that is your choice. I do however recommend before performing any work you contact the 3 phase support team to verify the procedure. 3 phase support can be reached at 800-555-2725 option 4

Hi,
You will need to contact support to have a service technician come on site to reset the batteries. Local support contact information will be found at this link http://www.apc.com/us/en/support/contact-us/index.jsp

Hi Bill,
Thanks. Trough these years I have been working with APC, we never had an issue requiring the field technician to come in otherwise there is no point of paying premium investment in the first place if the service and maintenance is the same with other brands.
The point of using modular systems is having is self managed and not asking a field technician to come for something simple like resetting the battery which probably something software related ! I was reading the forum and looks like there is an instruction for that, can you please provide that so we could do it internally ?
Thanks a lot,
Rooz
