1. Where can download the AP9631 SNMP card event alert list?
2. How to filter the "Bypass not in range, high voltage" from the email notification?
3. Bypass not in range, high voltage is critical alert, when back to normal the alert is An input voltage of frequency problem no longer prevent switch to bypass mode?
4. what is the meaning of "On battery power in response rapid change of input"?
5. What is the meaning of "On bttery power is response to distorted input"?
Thanks.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the information.
I can't found the event alert details in the MIB file, I need to know all the event alert meaning so I can explain to client when they receive the alert.
After filter critical alert "Bypass not in range, high voltage" do I need to filter the clear alert " An input voltage of frequency problem no longer prevent switch to bypass mode"? as I know both message will trigger when critical and clear.
I can't found the bypass out of range from the event action.
I would like to know if power failure what kind of event alert will trigger?
Below are the SNMP card I'm using
UPS Network Management 2
Smart-UPSMatrix Application
Thanks.
Regards,
Yong

Hi Yow,

the event list will depend on the ups it is connected to. You can download the MIb at the following link. http://www.apc.com/site/support/us/en/faq/?page=content&country=ITB〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156048&redirect=true

log into the NMc then proceed to this tree: configuration -> notificaiton -> event actions -> by event -> bypass -> bypass out of range. You can then select the email recipient you want to disable notification for. It will only do it was the event you select.

yes that should be the clearing event you see.

this means the ups went onto battery because the input power changed in a quick matter that the ups did not like. We can look at the data logs to possible see why. So for example it could be we had 208 volts and then had a sudden spike up to 230 volts or something along those lines.

this means the UPS went to battery mode due to the sine wave input being distorted. Sometimes called "dirty power"
