SURTA3000RMXL / 'chirps' once, (no lights) when you hit pwr or test buttons
Hello,
SURTA3000RMXL with 2 battery packs SURT192XLBP on an L5-30 outlet was working great for about 6 months. Now there are no lights and it 'chirps' once when you hit the Power or Test buttons.

Hello,
Is it safe to assume that you're not getting any power out of the unit?
If so, have you tried disconnecting the external battery packs from the main unit as well as any other serial/power cables/EPO cables at the back of the unit? Once disconnected, try unplugging the 3000 and hold down the "on/test" button. Wait for the second beep and see if it starts off battery power. The second beep should come within about 10-15 seconds. If it doesn't come, try pulling off the front cover, remove the metal plate, and try sliding out the battery. Verify that the batteries are connected properly, and that nothing has come loose. Also, how does the battery look? Does it slide out okay?
Have you also verified that there is good power coming out of the outlet that the 3000 is plugged into?
