hello vitaly the component that you show in the picture is a Termistor. you can see in  the board appear the name of the component  TH701 means "Termistor 701", and this component is a part of the power supply and if this component is damaged the ups can´t turn on.

Hi vitaliy

These UPSs are not user serviceable typically and if it failed under warranty, the entire unit should've been swapped out and replaced by technical support. The item in the picture looks like a Metal Oxide Varister (MOV) but I am not sure what you mean - there is no warranty on it because the MOV is damaged? Could you clarify? And also, who is the one telling you all this? Was it APC/Schneider?

hello

this tel me APC/Schneider in Russia Moscow.

i have mail:

(See attached file: 7641.JPG)

Best  regards

They argue that the motherboard 0P7641 discovered after opening here this spare part, circled in red in the picture that should not be there, they claim that it was I soldered it there.

They say that instead there should be another transistor (thermistor) and set clear what. and so they want to remove the warranty and identify the cause of not working for UPS /

I ask that it be and where it came from there.

UPS worked after 2 months of purchase

TH701 means "Termistor 701" its genue part? not fake on board,

he is there and must be soldered on the motherboard

genuine spare part? refuse to guarantee not have the right? wrong in the warranty service APC?

Sorry for the delay. I think someone should be reaching out to you if not already to help you with this further and do the repair.
