Hi,
I bought AP9619 card and inserted to Smart-UPS 1400 RM but card don't work. I coudn't connect to card throught the serial cable or the LAN. If i look to card booth LED's blinking independent of LAN cable. I record it and upload to youtube https://youtu.be/Ruf6vJQVbds Previous card AP9606 works without problem.
Could you someone help me what is wrong
Thank you
Martin

Yes, I saw that in the video. I am not sure why that is. It is normal for it (the network link LED) to blink briefly once every few seconds but not in the manner I saw in the video. But, I assumed it could've been using a really old firmware or something. I also did not think that behavior would also necessarily prevent serial cable access to the AP9619.

Hi Martin,
Thanks for the video. The slow flashing green status LED on the bottom right of the RJ-45 ethernet jack indicates the AP9619 does not have "valid" IP settings (valid meaning not in the right format or IP, gateway, or subnet is missing or incorrectly formatted). This must be addressed before you attempt to connect to the AP9619 over the network. This is most easily done by serial connection, to gain access to the AP9619 and modify its TCP/IP settings.
When you tried to connect via serial, what serial cable part number did you use? It must be an APC serial cable part number 940-0024 or 940-1524 for this UPS model. The baud rate also must be 2400 (which is default) though you can try other baud rates if that does not work - 9600, 19200, etc as users can change this setting. I am not sure where you obtained this card from so it may be been changed by someone else.
Hope this helps get you started.

Hi Angela,
thank you for your answer. I tried to connect to UPS throught the 940-0024 cable which fork with my old card AP9606. I am confused because on card flashing orange LED which means that card is receiving or transmitting data packets at 100 Megabits per second but LAN cable is not connected.
