AP9623 Smart Signaling Interface Expander
I recently came across one of these and it seems like quite a curious thing. The board looks identical to that of the AP9608 Call-UPS II SmartSlot accessory, and I noticed with great interest the presence of a BQ3287MT battery backed memory and clock module. That would seem to suggest some sort of data logging facility exists on the board, assuming the module is actually used for anything.
I'm curious if this board presents any kind of configuration interface. If it does, how can it be accessed? The manual doesn't say anything about such a thing, but it does mention that more than one baud rate is supported for serial communication. How would someone change that?
PowerChute Plus communicates perfectly with the board, but I've had no luck in communicating with it directly using UPSlink/APC Smart protocol.
